Jack Stromgren, DDS, is a general dentist and the owner of Stromgren Family Dentistry, a private practice located on Lincoln Avenue in the Willow Glen neighborhood of San José, California. A Central Valley native who grew up in Turlock, Dr. Stromgren completed his dental education and residency in Northern California before establishing the practice that now serves more than 3,000 active patients across Santa Clara County.

Dr. Stromgren earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of California, San Francisco in 2005. He then completed a general practice residency at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, where he gained experience across a broad range of clinical conditions. That residency helped shape an approach to patient care that remains direct, thorough, and unhurried.

Following his residency, Jack Stromgren worked as a clinical associate in Sunnyvale, developing a substantial foundation in crown and bridge work before acquiring a Willow Glen dental practice in 2014. He grew the four-operatory, 1,100-patient office into a five-operatory practice serving more than 3,000 active patients. The practice added an associate dentist in 2022, expanding its capacity while maintaining continuity of care.

His clinical focus today covers three distinct areas. Restorative and implant dentistry forms the core of his practice, supported by years of continuing education before implant treatment became an integrated part of his clinical work. Oral appliance therapy for obstructive sleep apnea serves patients who have difficulty complying with CPAP therapy. The practice also treats adults who have delayed dental care because of anxiety or previous negative experiences.

Dr. Stromgren takes a deliberate approach when working with anxious patients. He explains each step before proceeding, works at a pace the patient can manage, and allows adequate time for treatment. This approach has made Stromgren Family Dentistry a referral destination for some patients who have avoided dental care for years.

Beyond the operatory, Jack Stromgren has hosted a Free Dental Day every November since 2016, providing no-cost care to community members at the Lincoln Avenue office. He serves on the board of the Willow Glen Free Clinic and has worked with east San José elementary schools through dental sealant programs. These commitments reflect the same emphasis on access and care that is present throughout his practice.
